Data technology giant Oracle has named DX Marketing (DXM) a winner of the 2017 SMB Customer Innovation Award. The award was presented by Oracle CIO Mark Sunday at a ceremony held Wednesday during the Oracle OpenWorld conference in San Francisco.

DXM claimed this year’s top spot because of its innovative uses of Oracle cloud data and cloud marketing products and the outstanding effects it has had for DXM clients. DXM is a data-driven digital marketing company that, due to its innovative uses of Oracle cloud products, is able to deliver enterprise level data and digital marketing services to small and medium-sized businesses.

“While innovation has always been ingrained in the culture of DXM, never has it been so evident as the past two years,” says company founder and CEO Ray Owens. “The partnership with Oracle has helped us realize just how transformative we can be for our clients, and it empowers us to constantly seek new innovations that deliver stronger ROI for their marketing campaigns.”

In addition to receiving the 2017 SMB Customer Innovation Award, Owens, along with DXM Chief Technology Officer Jerry Gearding, were featured speakers and panelists at a number of OpenWorld workshops throughout the week. Oracle OpenWorld is one of the marketing industry’s preeminent business and technology conferences, offering thousands of educational sessions and hundreds of demos and exhibitions.
